Is there anything else near chico to play around at?  We were gonna wheel on Sat, and hang out with some friends on friday and sunday, so I'm still going up.  If theres anything to play on near chico, anyone interested in meeting up?

So i was looking at the weather and they said it might NOT get rain till Mid Feb which means no snow which means crappy wheelin. If thats the case it might have to be pushed EVEN MORE to the 17th... Lets hope it dumps snow soon.

dang!!! well im totally planning on coming up and the old lady (young lady?) just took off that saturday also so were gonna make it a weekend and my buddy joe said he's down for a party at his house in chico after wheeling if someone lets him ride along

i was just up two weekends ago a we pushed trail all the way to the top of the staircase but ran low on fuel unless we get a big storm it might be torn up pretty bad.  i didnt go up last weekend so i dont know the condition of the snow but im shure you can get to the top of moris

so instead of postponing this more and more why dont we just move the location instead?  if you are really worried about gas money Littleguy I will kick in and im sure others will too.  its just gonna start screwing things up to keep moving this back

I heard there's  a pretty good rock pile down at the clay pits in oroville.  I'm going to check it out on the 27th.  Maybe move to fordyce, if it doesn't start snowing, that'd be fun.

Ok so pretty much everyonethinks it should be the 10th but at a different location....

I really dont want to screw up peoples plans at all either and they have been already and the news is saying end of feb till snow comes and i really want to do a snow run.... so im thinking we should go to the rubicon.

What does anyone else say?

The only reason I dont say fordyce is because of the river crossing.

maybe do a new poll on fordyce or rubicon. we could start from meadow lake at fordyce and go from winch hill 5 to the water crossing and turn back.

no i went up on only half a tank and didnt go further cuz i got low, i bet you can get to at least morris was my point. sorry i left that partout, it was one of the best wheeling trips this snow,  but now it might be really torn up but if you guys end up going im down i live ten min away from the highlakes

alright so im bringing this btt because the 3rd is next weekend and also the weather has been kinda crappy here lately so that only means one thing,         SNOW!!!! ya its been snowing finally.  whos in and who isnt. im stoked and cant wait to wheel!!!!!

I went up there on Sat and the new snow is great. There is about 3-4 feet of new snow and it was snowing all day sat. should be fun. I'm in.
