it sounds like its going to be just a long day run that will turn into a night run on the way back im sure. there are atleast 3 people that live here in chico (lilbuddy) (geno) (myself) that i dont think would mind people crashing at there houses. beer on tap, hot tub, and we could all bbq after the run because i know everyone will be starving. everyones welcome!

on the 23rd my buddy drove his f250 powersmoke to spring valley with no issues and did doughnuts on the lake lol

Yep, and then there was the one about a month ago that was sitting in the middle of the road for days at dice rock. Don't know if it was stuck or broke, but not where i'd leave my very expensive truck. When the snow gets deep it's no place for a SD.....unless it's this one..

we were also thinking about stayin in the carmine cabin. a cabin would be nicer than tent camping but i will tent camp too.

we should stay there on sat night. theres plenty of property so whoever cant sleep inside (even though theres lots of room and can sleep on the floor) can sleep in a tent outside. have a bondfire outside and nice stove fire inside, thatd be tits

     My truck is running really good right now,got my front locker fixed,welded the crack on my rear spring hanger,got my powertank ready
to go,just need to do my motor mounts

do you have room for one more on the trip?? im running 35 inch tires  with 5.29 gears with spool in the rear and true trac in the front. also with dual cases with 4.7 in one of them.

The snow SUCKED. it was mud from inskip till the y intersection to where humbug summit rd comes in. Not only that the snow was still powedery as hell and had no traction at all.

If the weather blows still then we might have to push it back. Im hoping that we get a HUGE snow storm and then a nice rain strom after that like 3 days before we go up. thatd make the snow nice and sticky

No its like barely frozen on top and then its just a terrible powder BS snow. it sucks so bad. If it doesnt snow or barely snows from now till this weekend it is seriously NOT worth going up at all. it sucks soooo bad

If we have to push it up a weekend I have no problem. The forcast for the next two weeks does not show any big storm coming in.
It's not worth going up with there is shiaty snow

I completely agree that if the conditions are poor then I surely don't want to travel 6+ hours for it, but weather men are ENTIRELY unreliable at 2 weeks lead time.
