Booger tech maximus!
« on: Sep 23, 2006, 12:48:16 PM »
I just ran in to a friend of mine. He's a relatively bright guy...although I might have to rethink that. He was out working on his old 3 wheeler. It has a 500cc Kawasaki engine in place of the original 200cc Honda. In order to fit it in he...modified his fork mount.

I don't think there is anything I can add to the photos.

Well...I did chastise him and I questioned his lineage! He is planning to make a one seat sand rail. I, for reasons of liability, will keep clear of that project.

I know. I told him Quads are dangerous and 3wheelers (even before such a mod) are worse.

Holy crap!  I'd punch him right in the mouth, and I'm not even a violent person.  When he asks why you did that, just say you'd rather know how he lost his front teeth than wonder why next time you saw him.

A buddy of mine once said my welds look like a Snickers bar...after seeing these, mine aren't all that bad. In all fairness, just the fact that it's a 3 wheelers makes it at least 10 years old. Hopefully he has had an...awakening since then and knows a little more.

atc's (3 wheelers) are just as safe as anything.. It's idiots who can't ride that makes them dangerous.

that is horrible and he should sell his welder.

I would disagree partially. There is a reason they stopped making them. Combine that with idiot drivers and yes

Its the same reason they quit making lawn darts (fun game) tire swings, roller slides :dunno:

Idiots ruin it for everyone.  I know people who have used 3 wheelers for 20 years (my uncle) and never even came close to flipping it.
