Gas Prices hit $2/gallon!

News this morning said "there is a real possibility that gas prices will hit $2 a gallon this year"




I know I would go wheeling a lot more often if it does!

average in the North Bay is $2.80 a gallon,if it does hit $2 it wpuld be for long.yeah i would do a lot more wheeling

last friday in Arkansas I saw a few places that were $2.25,cheapest I saw was in cleveland TN $2.12.
Here at home though it is $2.49

I agree it won't last long.  If anything, they'll let it get that cheap for a short period of time just so they can say they did.  How bitchin would that be if they'd let it hover around $2 for a while though?!  I like being able to nearly top off a small tank when you drop a $20, not barely making a dent!

Still the cheapest I've seen around here is $2.52 and that was in Yuba City.. Cheapest I've seen in Sac is $2.65

I saw gas at 2.10$ in southern Iowa two weeks ago. 2.14$ in my hometown. Screw gas I wanna know what diesel will do. Diesel is what is gonna make me go fourwheeling more often.

What would be killing me is trying to get my DD and trail rig home from the trail with a busted transfer case. Diesel is down around 2.60 here.

2.05 in houston area at some places. 2.45 here in midland and 2.69 for diesel.

Nah, we just drove to Seaside for a few hours saturday night.. then drove back home.. I have actually never been to sand lake, and I havent been to the cheese factory since I was like 10 years old

It's getting close to November elections, so miraculously, gas prices go down.  In 2007, prices will be high once again (insert any of the numerous reasons here  ). Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the lower price, but I am a pessimist on this issue.

Sandlake is pretty cool if your willing to live with sand for the next year!  I still got sand falling out of places in my rig, and I was there 2 years ago!  The best thing to do is sit at the bottom of the bowl, and watch all the idiots on rails and quads play!  Nothing like watching a rail with 400+ horses doing cookies on the face!
