maybe my truck is jsut wierd, but the spot where the shock mounts has the metal sleeve already, the rubber of the shock goes through it directly....included with the shocks were metal sleeves to make up thickness differences on different vehicles, they were not used on my truck
Captain, he is talking about the bottom mount for the front shocks.

ranchos ride too hard anyway, get Gabrial gas shocks in the lifted size ride nice and about 1/2 the price of rancho 5000's
