Bronco II or Ranger will mount up just fine with the shackle hanger in the stock location and the front mount moved ahead about 6 1/2"
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Do yourself a favor and read $300 in the projects section.  Most of your suspension question will be answered there.  I know its a long read but Ive been told it got lots of information in it.  (I should know I wrote it. :yupyup )

Nothing that will work great offroad exists that wil fit in the stock hangers.  If you sliders are int he way then change the mounts if you want to get good usable travel.

For curiousitys sake post up some pics of these things at work. I've wheeled with people that have chevies and such before and doesn't seem like they worth the work. I've wheeled my junk rear packs without problems for years without problems(till now). Always had good flex out of them.

Im running 3rd gen (94) 4x rears up front and they work great with weight on them but they sucked with an unloaded bed.  Cadillac springs work great in the rear (77-79 seville) with 2 generic springs from a typical chevy 52" pack added.  The front mount needs to be moved about 7" ahead but the shackle stays in the stock location.
