Built front axle
« on: May 07, 2006, 03:53:50 PM »
I have a built solid axle with 30-spline longs, flanges, highsteer set up for hydro-assist, and custom diff guard. It had 4.88's with a lockright but I think I blew up the locker this weekend and last trip I blew up the rear and relplaced it with a complete 3rd from Randy's with a spool. I'm going to sell the axles and replace them with 60's and was wondering what they would be worth and if you thought I could get any more for the front if it was complete by putting the rear spool into the front? So what do ya'll think they're worth?

did you check the front yet or are you just guessing it was the locker because I broke my r/p one I put my 30 splines in.  I thought it was my locker as well but it ended up being a r/p

I haven't pulled it yet but I think it's my locker because it'll still pull but makes a really bad noise when it's in 4WD. It could be the r/p but reagardless, last time I broke the locker it messed up the r/p also. So what does everyone think it's worth.

Ok, I'll ask him but I don't know if he has the money or not, he just moved into a new house, you know how that goes. What do you think I should start asking for my axle? Thanks,
