once i get it built we will have a lil comp somehwere in the middle between your town and mine and it will be a wheel off. shouldnt be more then a few years before i get the $, time and fab skills

Its on, weill have our own ttc, and dave can bring the camera, I hear he finally learned to use one!!

Please your gonna need the teleporter cause when your rig falls apart in the parking lot after it rolls off the trailer your going to want to hide the pos so nobody knows what happened....   But I suppose if teleporters arnt around yet we could just leave it in the first hole you didnt make it out of and just burry the poor thing...

I dont doubt it..... Would be fun no matter what!!!   So what do you think at the rate our builds are going maybe 2020?

wheelchair at age 30? i sure hope not...but if i was in a chair it would have a teleporter built in so i could get food whenever i wanted at the press of a button.....

but on a less then serious note, i would say that once i get cases and gears and my sliders built on and installed on my runner i can start in on the jeep....so maybe next summer ill start working on it and shoudldnt take long to build, it will be simple, fast, correct and pretty easy since ill have more room in my shop to work with.  so should be done in two summers

TTC = Tough Truck Challenge.... Its a competition where a dozen or so contenstants that get voted in compete to see who has the most well rounded truck... 

Do you volunteer to fight fires in the summer? For all the forest fires goin on?

no volunteer yet. i just turned 18 in july and the min age you can be to fight fire is 18. i dont know anything about volunteering for FF. im going to vol. at the local station to wash trucks and do house work, just to get familier with the tools and what not. im gettin my app for a seasonal job which is just fire season with CDF next season. i hope that pans out. if i get the job next summer then i am basically set as long as i dont  up

i just looked over your build and your belly pan is pretty bling...i am to lazy about now to go back and look but did you flat belly it??

and did you ever decide what your axle upgrade will be? page one or two i believe made me ask this...thinking rockwells or that high tech looking ford 9inch and so forth?
and for your upper center link mount in the rear is baller... did you have that cut on a water jet or plasma?

i just looked over your build and your belly pan is pretty bling...i am to lazy about now to go back and look but did you flat belly it??

I am definatly going to go with some sort of a portal axle upgrade....  Probalby the ford9 alloy hybrid....  Gonna have to wait till I get out of school for that, till then I think the alloys I have sittin in the garage will be great!!   

As far as that rear link assembly I wish I could claim it, it comes in a kit, I think it was around 100bucks from BTF, they have some sweet stuff....

and the flat belly, its kinda goofy, see the truck frame on the pass side is actually 1.5in taller than the drivers side possably to accomodate the dual fuel tanks, so on the pass side its .5 in below the frame and on the drivers side its 2in below to keep the pan level....It works for now, someday I will rebuild the fram in tube but till then I think it will work...  I wanted to come just below the frame so I could put crossmemers in for the tranny and t-case, that way if I ever need to work on it I can drop the whole skid assembly, and the tranny and t-case will still be supported....
