Alright time for the real updates,  here are some pics of the jeep, and the updates that have been done since the last post.  No photoshop this time :smack: i promise.

first my jeep at full droop   :Muscleman:

And here it is drooping with the shocks and everything attached

and these last few are the bumpers

The front bumper you can see it has the 12000lb winch on it, and the rear bumper will have the dual exhaust coming through as well as the backup lights and blinkers,   should be cool.

That plywood is sweeeet!

IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Alright a few more updates!
Rear bumper tacked in,  not yet gusseted or attached skid plate.

And a couple of the sliders w/o the top rail.  So i photoshoped one in so every one would have an idea of what i have planed

And then this last image is my cage extension,  since the new body is a bit longer than the old i have to extend the cage out so this is what I have planed.  It will have a mount on the tail gate area and one on the slanted portion for the spare tire,  one for city driving, and the other to get it out of the way on the trail.

Alright guys over Christmas break at home with the folks my dad had destroyed the grapplers on my grandfathers skid loader doing his home remodel.  So on my limited time frame I got to work and this is what I came up with.  Two pins and the whole assembly will come off, or if you just need the teeth out of the way a pin allows each individual tooth fall off.  Not a traditional 4x4 but hey it's got four wheels and I got to fab something cool for it.

Got a new waterproof toy for my rig.  Check it out.

Should be cool,  you can download maps of trails all over the US. Canada, and mexico.  I read a story from a guy with one and it told him how to get off this trail and took him to a cattle tunnel that his rig just fit through to get him back on the trail.  Plus I can mount it to my motorcycle for the trips I take every year.

Check this guys,  A buddy of mine in montana tried to drive  :driving: through a "shallow" pond. :hammerhead:  I had to laugh at him.  Of course his truck was fine, after draining a gallon or so of water out of the oil pan.  Pulling the air box, and draining that, and pulling the plugs and sucking the water out of the cylinders.    Its ok to laugh, im his best friend and thats exactly what I did.   :ha_ha: :ha_ha: :ha_ha:

yota85truck and i did something very similar to this in ouray! his is a carb. mie's EFI...he sprayed carb cleaner into the intake and the water came out the top! we had to pull mine down the mountain to work the water out of the pistons! LOL

What are you doing about the drive shaft. it's hard to tell by the pics, but with the flex you are showing, your shaft is going to hit your mount :dunno:

Actually its hard to tell but the bar with the lower link mounts on it sits right under the output shaft, the cv will come out about 4 inches before it drops down to the axle, so it clears the whole assembly quite nicely.  Oh and the transfercase mount isnt in there, so the t-case will be about 2 in  higher.  I am getting the double cv shafts from highangle.

alright went to get the body they didnt have it done.  they wanted me to make sure it was put together right since they screwed up the first time,  so I guess monday they will be doing the finishing glass work.  Anways heres some pics.  They did do some nice work even not finnished the lines are pretty good.  Not many people would notice that the floor board on the firewall portion was moved into the engine space 2in on top and 4 on the bottom.  Or the nitch for the distributer to fit into.  Alright sorry for rambling heres the pics.

Its official.  I have my drivelines on the way,  two double c/v hd driveshafts from highangle, and second official announcement.  I will be running this dual rate sway bar up front, the oro swayloc, and a currie antirock in the rear.  Everybody cry with me my pockets have holes in them andmy walletis much much lighter.

Alright here are a few pics from screwing around at the shop.  Keep in mind that the front suspension is sitting flat because i didnt have nitrogen to put in the shocks, and nothing to counter the weight of the motor.  That being said there is about 35in under the front tire, and 33 under the rear.  I am going to try to max it out when I get air in the shocks.  I have my estimates on how much this thing will flex but I will save my guesses till I actually test it out.

And these last two are of my plans for moving the rear shocks.  I know if I would just make up my mind this thing would probably be done but hey,  got to get it right.   This will allow the frame to be cleaned up to allow the swaybars to cycle in the rear.
