I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

It can be OK, there's not much there, I think.  Sunday was by far the most rigs I've ever seen there.  Some of the best built things I've seen at la grange also.  It's close, and it's a decent place to test, or just richard off for the day.

Ya you do NEED shocks! and throwing that extra 150 pounds at my tailgate did help out a little.
Yea, they are on order.  Helped a little, huh? Is that why you made me look like an ass :gap:

:gap: not the correct lengths. I could get close, but it would limit my(nonexistent)articulation.

Guys, I have a rattle under the bed and a feeling like my truck has rear-steer.  Can you help me figure it out?
 :smack:

Buy/install rear shocks
Cut rear U-bolts down
Weld shock mounts to axle
Pull tcases and reseal AGAIN
Replace front main seal
Drill and tap intake for temp sender
Get rollbar into bed
Finish rebuilding carb
check torque on all ubolts/springs/shackles
Pick up sliders from :turtle:

ummm...wheel bearings maybe? jack it up and see if you can wiggle the tires back and forth...

and what is up with the ubolt on the left side? see how the ones on the right have a lot more threads showing on top and there is a giant gap under the axle tube??  :ack:

While your checking those u bolts check out the spring center pin. The U bolts may have come loose causing the center pin to shear or bend.

I was being a smartass...it's entirely because of the ublots/center pins.
