How come all of you have such nice beds?  I can't find any decent ones that are less than $500.  A $300 bed is still beat to crap.  Mine was free, fortunately...

Colorado.  It's pretty dry here, and generally there is no salt on the roads.  But since these beds are 30+ years old, a lot of them very well could have spent time elsewhere.

Damn Kyle thoes are some trashed bed sides! The reason my truck doesn't have a bed is due to the rust. After the cab stretch we were going to bob the front to match the rear but there wasn't enough metal to weld back together.

soft topper was built as a display piece and was at 4 wheel parts for a few years and eventually my buddy who worked there ended up getting it and it went threw a few hands and now i got it

Here is my buddies new to him 81. Its a 20R, 4 spd, 4.38s, 31s. He paid $1100 for it. Needs a little work, speedo the rest of the dash don't work. But its a start for a 17 yr old kid.

Poor thing needs some paint!  Then again, so does my truck...  The bed and the rest of the body appear to be in pretty good shape at least.

There are some small rust spots on the bed but nothing too terrible. It doesn't seem like there is too much rust in the cab either. We gave it a quick once over after he bought it. He wants to paint it a desert style camo.
