got some work done on my 81
converted it back to round headlights
and got my trekker top painted & mounted

very nice first gen. i like your side marker lights! im guessing they are just some round orange leds? hard to tell from the black and white photo. can we get a color picture? maybe one of your tube bed too?

I think he bought it in reno from an original owner.  the cleanest part about it is the engine bay. Id eat off anything there.  looks like it just came from the factory. the floor had a couple rust spots that he fixed and the bed has a few rivets starting to poke through.  Its got a crappy rough country lift on it but the tires are BFG km2s.  33 10.50s.  it does good for what it is.

Mine was overheating a little... But with the hood off it was fine.
'80 Pickup, 5VZ-FE engine, A340F transmission, Marlin gear drive adapter, Dual Ultimate transfer cases, 5.29 gears, Detroit rear/Lockrite front locker, 37" Goodyear MTRs, XRC8 winch, custom tube bed and armor
