looking for a 80-85 not built toyota pickup in tenn, nc, sc, virginia can anyone help????

MetalMangler

The springs are 3 inch extreme travel leafs. It has a 1.5 inch shackle, giving it a total of 3 and 3/4 inches of lift. It clears the 38.5's because the front axle has been moved forward 2.5 inches. It does in fact have a buggy leaf in the rear with an extra half leaf in the pack to stop axle wrap. Here are some pics of the mods to come. I cannot start on it untill afterthe first of March because I am leading a group from www.CNC4x4.org on a ride in the mountains of North Carolina. This ride will take place at Darnell Creek on Feb 25 and 26. I will keep pics of the work posted as it is done. I will be doing all of the work myself with the help of my friend that lives up the road from me. He does lots of Toyota work so check him out at www.BUDBUILT.com

The Metal Mangler will be recieving a Marlin Crawler 23 spline MC08 RC10 clocked dual case adapter.
It will also get a set of Marlin Crawler 23 spline 4.7 gears in the rear case.
Last but not least will be the Sky Manufacturing twin stick.

Sick :pokinit: man, your truck makes me want 38.5x11.00 boggers.  how well does the 4banger clean the boggers out?  I want boggers and could fit the 38.5's but am not sure I will have the power to keep them spinning.  How do you like them, as apposed to the TSL's I saw in a previous pic.

I really dig the boggers. They dont side hill as well as the LTB's that I was running. It really doesn't take much wheel spin to clean them out because of the tread width. These things tear the ground up like a starving dog in a meat truck. I dont have any trouble with power, the 5.29's pull them good on the highway, but I am having to do t-case work to get my low range back for rocks and super rough terrain. It runs fine for hill climbing, mud bogging, or just in general tearing shirt up.

Yea, I built it. It has gone from stock, to where it stands, right in my yard. I will try to post a stock pic later.
