I also feel that the space at the top of every page (header) between the member avatar (on the left) and the return Turtle (on the right) is rather plain and could have something else added to there, but what?

Also, this forum seems much more streamlined and quicker with everything I do. Anyone else notice this as well?

I get this stupid window for every image I try to open, I think it's a security issue.
That is weird. Anyone else having this problem?

Also the new Icons don't tell me if I've posted in a thread anymore.
What! Do you actually use that icon! I just made it the same as normal messages. I never even look at the icons to begin with :rofl2:

If you can find another icon that goes well with the others, then I'll add it.
There are icons for
"regular poll" "my poll" "my hot poll" "my very hot poll" "regular hot poll" "regular very hot poll"
"regular folder" "hot folder" "very hot folder" "folder I posted in" "hot folder I posted in" "very hot folder I posted in"
"normal post sticky" "hot post stick" "very hot post sticky" "normal post stick I posted in" "hot post sticky I posted in" "very hot post sticky I posted in"

yadda yadda yadda That's a lot of specific icons to search for and all be of the matching style :ack:

I used it to see if I had an interest in that thread, not a big deal. I think the very hot folder should be a higher # like 50 or more posts looks like you currently have it set at like about 30 posts.
must be security, man, my FireFox works beautifully.
I think you are right, there is a check box in that window that asks that question, I can unclick it but it returns the next time I try to open another file.

Ok, I'll raise it, it was on 40+ for Very Hot topic but I lowered it because I found that most other boards are 10 for hot and 20 for very hot. I guess those boards dont see much action :rofl2:

Have you guys noticed the cool new icon that is to the right of your posts? You can Modify your message right on the thread itself! Pretty sweet. I've seen that feature on some vBulletin boards and I'm now glad SMF has it too  The page doesn't even reload in fact!

Right now about every-other thread was a hot thread, I think we average about 40 posts per thread.

I was just thinking that, like how long did it take and how much per hour? Good times I guess.

Can I get some opinions on this, I feel that the Hypertext links on the "Show unread posts since last visit." page should be a bit darker. It seems to light, everything on that page is just light and it looks too plain.

Anyone else feel this way?

You could darken the text a bit for us old farts. Our eyes aren't what they used to be after the GBG thread you know.

I agree with you on that one.  Just seems like a little something is missing but what?  :headscratch: If I think of something I'll let you know..  But Over all the board looks Great.  Very sleek and modern.  :clap2:     And yes not too dark.  Thanks for your hard work Mike.

The size of the space at the top is relative to your monitor resolution settings. On my 19" monitor at work 1280x1024 there is a 6" space between the text and logo. On my 24" monitor at home the space is much larger.

I just made every link a *bit* darker again. The color code I am using right now is 464646 (HEX) or 70 70 70 (RGB). It was 505050 / 80 80 80. Next I'll try 3C3C3C / 60 60 60 which is one more step closer to black.

what's up with all the scroll bars on every post it's rather annoying!
You know, they old forum would do that on long posts and I never liked it because I feard that many people would not see the scroll bar and would miss like my last two whole paragraphs. There is not option to disable that, but I can view the page source and match the code with one of the source scripts and uncode it from the forum.

I'll be gone until about 10pm tonight. I just stopped back home for a bit for lunch, and now I am off for my afternoon classes.

Thanks for all of the feedback you guys, your voices are what make the difference

Has anyone else tried the search function?  It is amazingly faster, but I am getting  :screwy: results..   For a test I typed in lift kit and on the first page only a couples of returns had either word..  a lot of t-case results. ???

Don't like the new color.  Makes it hard to see, needs more contrast.
