My new pimp ride!
« on: Oct 30, 2005, 06:04:30 AM »
Hey guys I think Im going to pick up this sweet truck! Its soooo pimp. Its got these new half pipe leaf springs and invisible driveshafts. J/K you know I'd never fall this low. This truck is disturbing isnt it? Does it even fit under the overpasses?

 :headscratch:   wheres the drive shaft?

:psss: IT has to be under 13'  for over passes

the only problem with a truck like that is  it's only good  for going to the mall/food shoping    o and shows

To make it go, you spin the wheels backwards till you hear 3 clicks then hop in and it takes off. The only down-side is you have to keep repeating this every couple blocks.

A commercial came on when I was at my friend's house the other day and he says "you'll like this truck", then rolls up a first gen sittin atleast as high as this one, and hands off a pizza to someone through a second story window.  All I could do was shake my head and say "useless, utterly useless".  Never could understand the though process......

I get that all the time at work. I have a couple guys that are "jeep guys" and wanna be offroaders. They don't even come close to getting it. They are arm chair, nay, office chair offroaders. All I hear from this one guy that went out of his way to buy just the right CJ7 is how he keeps having to bring it to 'the shop' for yet another problem. Hasn't a clue how to work on it himself or what the problem might be.

I'll give him credit of the fact that he is bringing it to one of the first mechanic shops MrW ever worked at, Teds, at least he has that on his side. But he is still clueless.

Yea, that's the one, with the gullwing doors.  I'd like to have the cash they put into it but otherwise  :reg:

Check out the first pic.  You can see daylight where the motor should be!

Hey, at least it's suspension is better built than the E-bay one with the crappy home made drop brakets for the springs!   But still, too much money invested into useless items!  And not into needed items; i.e. motor, trans, transfer, and drivelines!  :slap:

But hey, it's a nice looking lawn ornament!!

A friend of mine built that truck ( bass suspension out of magalia)   years ago.. 41" of ift  if i remember correctly.  besides the fact that it had  national V springs haha it was built correctly..  the entire engine/tranny/tcase was dropped down into a subframe. proper tractionbars and panhard bars... all that good stuff
