Thanks, but it has a few dents and many "pin" stripes.  The rims kinda make it look like it hasn't seen much off roading.  If I compare it to yours and many others on this board it hasn't done much, but I do like to get it in the rocks and hills.  :driving:

Here is the hose connection I added to use a regular house for inflating tires.  You can also see the valve that can isolate the front two air valves from the back.

This compressors duty cycle is not the best (20 min ON, 10 min Off), but it does well enough for now.
I used the "push" type connections for the plumping.  The black "plastic" tubing is not large enough to allow much air volume, but I'm usually not in a hurry on the trail.

No, he didn't get run over.  He was out doin' his kind of "wheelin'"  For reference the tire is 12.5 wide.  The second pic is after I moved him out of the way.  I stayed just out of range to take the pic.

Im about to put OBA on my rin and i got some questions. What compressor did you use and how much did it cost you? How long does it take to air up your tires? Is there a good compressor you would recommend?

Hey Yota4life,
It has been about 7 years since I installed the OBA.  I don't even remember the brand name of the compressor, but I remember it cost me around $110.  It is NOT the fastest one out there.  Actually it is middle of the road when it comes to speed and volume.    I got mine at "Off Road Unlimited" in Arizona.  Take your time and research the compressors.  Get the best pump you can afford.  I have had two pumps die on me.  They had nylon internal gears and didn't last at all.  Find a compressor that is made to be used under the hood or that is suitable for the environment you will be mounting it in (rain, heat, sunlight etc.)

Hey AZROCKER,
This was the back way to Crown King, past Lake Pleasant.  The picture is about 3 years old.  I haven't been up there lately, but I've been told, the rain has changed a lot of the trail and made it even more gnarly.

It's Northwest of Phoenix.  When you exit I 17 it's a 3 - 6 hour drive depending on how you drive.  It's a good over nighter.  There are camping areas there and Crown King has a general store, two saloons and a small cafe.  I believe the saloons also serve food.

Most of the "tough" parts of the trail have by-pass trails.  Remember I have not been up there for a while and last I heard, two months ago, the trails have changed drastically.
No, I have not done the SAS yet but it is in the future.
