Hello everyone,

My buddies and i went up to play in the TSF this last weekend. It was the first run for my 92 pickup and for my Friends (chim on this board) 85 runner. The weather turned out sweet! we got lucky! :yesnod:

The only carnage was the steering box broke off the 90 ifs truck and I put some trail rash on the left rear of my bed :shake: . It was also my birthday, so i guess the body damage was a present? ???

Here are some pics from my camera,  Chim post up yours

TSF is Tillamook State Forest.  It's about an hour from Portland, on your way to the coast to Tillamook, OR.   It's some of the most beautiful place on Earth, I only say that cause I've lived in Tillamook all my life and just love to drive around in the woods here!  These are basically the same trails that Warn Industries tests out their new equipment, including Sandlake!  I usually hit the Kilchis here on the coast, cause I live on the Kilchis, it doesn't have the trails like the TSF does but it does have some really gnarly roads!

Quote  Hey Cruzila...... I am guessing that is a pic of your rig????  If so, you were there last spring when I was there. ;)   I think it was in March?????  We were at the top of Firbreak 5 watching you trying to come up through it ... one obstacle you had a heck of a time,(stayed to the right where it was more technical) tried and tried and tried  :_order: ... was to narrow and too slick... my buddy got about 5 minutes of you trying that one line on video.

You get to Browns Camp and Lyda Camp off Hiway 6 about 20-30 miles in off 26.
Only been to Browns Powerline (avi shot) and Cedar Tree out of Lyda Camp so far.

Toyrocs is great, him and another guy with a 98 XJ were up last weekend helpin out haulin a rock trailer around for us while we laid base rock on the Hogsback Bypass.

A few of us were up there in Sept and wondered what was up with Hogs Back.  EVERY time we have been there it has been closed ... whats up with that?? :-\\   To much erosion or ????  I want to tackle that trail on of these days.

Apparently there is a section where the FS V8 types like to romp that is undercut al to hell and back, so, they closed the trail while they add a bypass to go around that area before the eco-nazis can howl and shut down more of the area.

The bypass as I have it from ODF will add about 1/2 mile to trail. The section we were rocking in looked alot like Cedar Tree.

I believe it will be reopening in the spring season after rocking is complete and it has time to settle.

Hey the first gen toyota, are those the pit bull tires he's got on there?  If they are, how do they do?  They look mean!

The dark blue? first gen looks like it has uniroyal laredo mt tires, the white one looks like they're dunlop mud rovers.
RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

Now that you say that, I forgot that Uniroyal made MT tires. They have some similar features!    Been out of the tire industry too long.
