just got my new guage cluster in the mail today from Rockdiver , your the coolest by the way especially since you have the same last name. so after I put it in tomorrow I will finally hopfully have a working gas guage and all the other guages and lights!! sweet I cant wait and too top it off my truck will now have less miles :ha_ha: only 270,000 instead of 303,000 coolio :drooling:

Ramrod

oh yeah also I drove this bad dog to moonrocks this weekend which was at least a 5.5 hr drive and it drove better than ever and never went below 55 going over donner summit and all those other big hills plus it held 70-75 the whole way there and back at about half throttle even against a strong wind on the way back :clap2: :cheese:

Ramrod

just put in the new dash and also hooked up the check engine light for the first time and its throwing code 6, 7 , and 11  :stopit: but whatever its still running great.  once I fix those down the road i'm expecting quite a bit more power hopefully

Why fix them down the road? Why not fix them in your garage? The tools would be much closer than having to run down the road everytime... :headscratch: ::)

Well if you're a lazy bum I can see why you wouldn't want to keep running down the road... But why do you want to fix it if the truck is fine? Don't fix what ain't broken ya hear! :_oops: :rofl2:

another good reason but I dont need that for at least another year because I renewed my reg. yesterday for another year   i'm scared to smog it anyways

Ramrod

ok so the guage cluster that rockdiver gave me seems to be the master of all toyota parts and i'm loving it.  Since I installed it my battery draining problem i've had for a while has gone away, I noticed it has a low fuel warning light which is something i didn't even know exsisted on a 20 year old truck, gas guage works perfect which I love since my other one didn't, it lights up red so it matches my guage and interior lights (sweet), and somehow the speedometer on this one shows my speed perfectly not 10 fast.  I love it

Ramrod

went and bought 4 more 55watt rocklights today from wallmart so I'll be able to see when I hit lil'sluice friday night. gonna put them in tomorrow.  this morning I had to put in a new right rear axle because i've been barrowing the one that was in there and had to give it back and he didn't want my other one

I originally barrowed it because I broke off a wheelstud and it already had one broken off and I didnt have time to replace it because this was all the day before mcr4.  hopefully he doesn't mind 2 rubicon runs and the hammers and whatever other damaging runs I put on that sucker

well I took it to the rubicon this weekend and wheeled it pretty hard and the body is showing it.  I ran lil' sluice with no problems what so ever though except getting wedged really bad which led to bending one of my rear spring badly.  Here are a couple pics of the new body damage.  I'm getting a new bed tomorrow so dont fret the damage

Matty

that is starting to look a lot like someone elses truck on Team Ramrod.  but hey what do i know.

looks like it was a good time.  any wheelin pics?

Ramrod

Your truck is officially a worthy toyota now!  BTW, my truck looks retarded with that spring in the rear.  Hey, i now someone that has a 85-88 2wd 1 ton toy witha 22re in it.  doesn't pass smog and it has been sitting for awhile.  It has been broken in too a couple times.  I will see if he wants to sell it.  last time i asked he didn't but it just sits at work so i will give it a shot.
