Yes, I like the medieval effect of the front. Totally gnarly.

Cool pictures!!

Ok well I guess I should break the new here.  Lately ive been looking for a towrig and trailor and messing with financing and all that crap and Ive decided that it is just not the best thing for me to do right now  for the sake of trying to save up money and moving out on my own and that id be better off just owning 1 street worthy vehicle for now so im PARTING OUT MY TRUCK.  No dont worry its either going to be reincarnated into a second gen 4runner or tacoma but i wont be sure which one yet and im not going to miss out on any good wheeling trips either because its winter time anyways.  Im going to go look at a 91 22re runner tomorrow and if it looks as good as it does in the pics im gonna get it.

Plans for whatever I get are to swap in my entire drivetrain and front suspension with better shocks, new rims, and everything done cleanly and nice not hacked together like it is right now.  I will probably put my truck on nonop sometime in the middle of october after the fordyce trip on plan on taking it on next week and then I will cruise my new project around for then next few months and probably build it in january or something or whenever I get around to it and have everything sold off the 86 and everything being reused completely cleaned and resealed. Unlike this truck im not gonna wheel it at all untill I get all of the body armor  finished so I dont end up back in the same place I am right now.  If you see something you like off of the truck let me know and its probably for sale.

Things being kept are:
front axle
high steer
tranny
transfer cases
front springs
shock hoops
shackles
driveshafts
motor
cage
sterio
rear axle
rear springs
headlights
battery
tires
brake lines
rocklights
leds

more to come, look for new buildup in the near future

Is this why you were axin bout my 86?  If you're wantin to make a dedicated wheeler later I have that and the 87 2wd cab/chassis too.

yeah this is why I was askin about your truck. If I wanted another dedicated wheeler I could still have my truck but if I ever build another trail only rig it will be a buggy probably

ok so I just went and picked up the new project.  Its a Black shortbed reg cab 96 tacoma 4x4 with a new 3rz and new old man emu suspension and I paid $3500.  That makes this project officially over besides the project of tearing it apart and I will start a new thread for a new project right now

they are Pro-comp es-3000 15" in the back and es-9000 in the front 14" and i'll sell them to you for $75 for all four.  One front one is all rusty though because my leaky battery took off all the paint and the back ones have flames painted on them.  On the tube front clip you would have to cut off everything you have from the cab foward and just keep cutting till this fit and then weld it on also but your truck wont be legal anymore.  I'll sell all that for $100 which is how much the metal cust pretty much.  Sorry about never replying to that pm ive been meaning too but really busy

yotamckimboy4x4

Alright ill take them shocks off your hands. i just bought a 85 solid axel shortbed with a 5 inch lift and the chocks are shot bad. so lets just get the shipping figured out. and aww dont worry bout that pm i have been busy get the new truck already so i didnt really have time
