Poop-on-a-stick!
That is a clean interior you got there...but I have to go rest now after seeing that motor. Whew!
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

When is that flat-bed going to be ready for our viewing pleasure? I am contemplating the flat-bed myself. What sort of design are you going with? If I go flat-bed style, I will go with a simple, clean design. I am curious to see yours.

The flatbed will be done a week from today.  I am going with an all-poo design, with a few custom twists.

As I was looking at these 1st gen trucks like mine, I keep seeing people cut the front fenders and the bottom of the hedlight bezel level. What do you guys use to do this and how much does it help in wheeling or is it not that big of an improvement. It looks good too though. I like your truck a lot, hopefully mine will turn out half as nice.

Cutting the quarter panel below the headlight bezel makes more room for wheel flex. In my case, as well as many others running large tires (40s), the higher clearance keeps the tire from rubbing except under extreme flexing. Anyway, I haven't done it to mine yet, but it looks like a pretty cool enhancement.

Just finsihed the floorboards today, scraped all the stock tar sh*t off, (what a pain in the :moon: ) Then I sanded the floor with 80 grit, and put a couple thick coats of the duplicolor bedliner stuff from kragen, turned out pretty nice

is there a trick to doing that cause it is a pain in the ass and im right in the middle of it...

the main thing is to have the floor completely clean.  I scraped all the tar off, and then sanded the floor, if you don't want to go through all that trouble, I would just sand the metal areas of the floor, then wipe down the entire floor with acetone.  If its not clean, it won't last long.  Good Luck!

Yeah, use a nice heavy grit paper, that stuff can come out real nice if you do it right, but it is a contact adhesion, not a chemical bond, so if you do it wrong it will peel off ina few months time.  Easy to touch up though.
