I have to be careful now which news I listen to, watch, or read.

Too often now watching TV news more than a few minutes can cause significant hemorrhaging, as blood will shoot out of my eyes.

Gun laws will not prevent mass shootings.

Prohibition didn't work in the 1920s.  The result was more people drank alcohol.   

More gun laws and actions against our 2nd Amendment is driving more Americans to buy firearms.  Gun sales are booming! 

Some years ago, an Anti-gun advocate group did research to find out that gun laws will not prevent someone from getting a firearm - legally or illegally - it only took an average of 4 hours.  And... 80% of American gun owners said they would not give up the guns under confiscation laws.  And.. nearly half of all homicides were committed with a knife.

Research shows more guns in the home, more accidental injury and death caused by the firearm.

There is much debate and lack of factual data regarding the use of a firearm for self-protection, the number of occurrences, and the number of actual lives saved.

Regardless of the statistics, use, possession, lives saved, or lives lost, one fact that is undeniable is our Constitutional right:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The level of insanity rises with the artificial cost of living rise and the governmental strictures imposed. People are stessed and angry. We are becoming a nation of TSD victims. Can't call it PTSD yet since we are still going being put through the ringer. One thing this situation reveals is the fragility of the human id. Also shows me the individuals I would not want on the line with me. I can't call these shooters cowards, sadly, they don't have the mental capacity to be cowards.

I find one thing that humanity needs is falling off fast, empathy. Probably the biggest factor in civility. Next on the list of necessity to civility is conscience, another thing people seem to be losing. I can see this everywhere I go. People reflect their environment, and the environment has been decaying radipidly. Don't be surprised by what you see develope over the rest of your life.

Classical music! Bach and Brahms can be relaxing, Mozart can tend to be complicated enough to trigger your brain and awaken the thought process. Beethoven has some numbers that make your brain wonder why. Avoid anything with voice for that disconnect from people, it'll clear your head from humanity's BS.

The truth is out there, you just need to find it. Today people complain about prejudice and socoal injustice all the while being prejudice and socially injust. Can't trust the news, honest repporting does not inflate ratings, which makes more money the higher they go. News should be the facts! The facts without sensationalism. Once I see a reporter "reporting" on a subject while acting like a clown or adding seeming extra information or commentary I have to look for the real story. That takes way too much of my day.

I shouldn't have to verify the information presented in the news. If I want to be entertained I'll watch animal videos if I want a laugh or the general population if I want to be affected emotionally. If I want mystery I'll read Hitchcock. If I want to be amazed I'll read Arthur C. Clark and Alan Dean Foster or maybe a little Clavel. But I DO NOT nedd to LIVE in a FANTASY world.

This, uh, person, had an information that could possibly offer a good arguement. Where they get these ideas I'll never know. I say "they" because there has to be more than an individual to devise such a bold statement. I wouldn't argue with this, uh, person, with my views on the human race, but there is absolutely no way I would believe or back their concepts. I was, intrigued, with these comments.
The one thing that was said that made me dismiss the entire conversation was what a great job Biden was doing. Yep, I found a Biden supporter. Nissan Leaf driving, Biden supporter. Sure this dipschtick has an all electric everything and will die in the next major winter power-outage in this area. One can only hope.

That won't happaen. Remember, it's always part of "his" plan. A blanket excuse for not doing anything about it. I've heard that said towards the mass shootings as well, "It's God's will.", "All part of his grand plan". People use "God" as a catch-all solution and excuse for every event, good or bad, that happens everywhere, every day.

Maybe "God" has said, "Enough is enough." and has left the building. Y'all are on your own! The Devil followed him out because he couldn't do any better destroying the human race than we're doing on our own.

Maybe, people should take on the Atheistic approach to life and use their heads to solve issues?

Or maybe the Laveyan approach where WE, individually, are God and Satan at the same time? The more selfish "Me and Mine" attitude has already permeated the overall population, be it god fearing or not.

People should live their life by what IS right, not what some book written by fanatics says is right. Even someone who has no faith and no conscience can figure out what is right and wrong by simply thinking, "would I want to be treated that way?" or "I didn't like that, I shoudn't do that to others.". Common sense and intelligence should be the new "religion". Our society shows an absolute lack of any type of sense and a lack of intelligence.

I will say that religious texts do carry viable wisdoms, left or right beliefs. My favorite thing to offer Bible thumpers is the Laveyan "Satanic Bible" to read. Just a book, a book that 99.999% see as an evil entity. It's a book, read it, just a book. Most of it is worthless, that what is beyond Anton Lavey's philosphies really. Why fear it? Most "right hand" path followers develope a sweat when presented with the book. I have that book on a shelf, right beside the Holy Bible, old and new testaments, the Quran and the Tanakh among 17 other "books of faith" and none of them have burst into flames. Just books.

Teddy Bear woke me up this morning about 2am.

I made a pot of coffee and started catching up on the “news”.

After about 45 minutes I started to have a minor cognitive meltdown.

WHY?

We have 143 days to the Primary Election day November 8.

If the elections actually happen, it is nearly a certainty that the Republican Party will take over the House and the Senate by majority.

Here’s my nightmare scenario….

The global elites - the 1000s involved in any activity to overthrow our Constitutional Republic could be tried for a crime, including Treason.

The super rich and powerful elties will NOT go down without a fight.  They will do ANYTHING to stop the Primary Election from happening.

Civil unrest caused by a number of government entities or the WHO, or some other evil force will explode into street protests, riots, then violence.

When the violence turns deadly, the Domestic Terrorist Task Force will be dispatched to confiscate our firearms.

That will trigger a huge level of violent protests, Martial Law will be enacted, gun confiscation will be the factor that will cause the Primary Election to be disrupted.

So… the evil power will maintain in control.

My fear is something catastrophic is going to occur in the next 143 days that will prevent the Primary Elections from happening in November.

It's going to take that long to find all the issues. Long term injuries become a part of life, become the norm and typically ignored, and unless thye come on suddenly and acutely, are dismissed as aging problems. Go ahead and TRY to convince a medical doctor this new symptom is due to a shot you got ten years ago. Took decades to tie Shingles to Chicken Pox. Or is it connected to the Chicken Pox vaccine?
