Not necessarily "outlawing" all gas vehicles, just new sales, SO FAR.

I'm not hearing anything about upgrading the electrical infrastructure. Cali is still blaming wires for fires and not putting consideration to put all those wires underground or clearing all "fuel" for a specified distance from all wires, like we have to do around our homes. Nope, to expensive to do any of that.
Not to mention the rolling blackouts that come about every year because the electrcal infrastructure INADEQUATE! They turn power off because the powerplants can't supply ebough electricity, the substaions like to melt down and the transmission lines warm up.

EVs will destroy the environment quicker that any gas-powered vehicle.

The electric grid cannot be retro-fitted to support 10s of thousands of EV charging stations.

To retro-fit a charging station in your home is $1,500 to $4,500.

A typical EV will need about 32 amps and 240 volts.  That is enough to power a 50-gallon hot water heater, refrigerator/freezer, 50" LED TV, all the lights, and 2 computers - all at the same time.

32 amps? Our house pulls less than that at peak use, with AC and hot tub running.

That 32 amps is just a standard charge rate. A fast charger pulls 200+ amps.

Estimated 3.7 KWh charge to get about 5 miles out of an EV. For my wife to commute it would take a minimum of 8 hours to charge, that's nearly 30 KWh at least 6 days a week. That's about 775 KWh a month. Currently our consumption is half that. It IS less than gosoline.

Doesn't help with the increased cost of insurance, for a new car, Hving to upgrade the wiring in this 70 year old house and having to buy a new 50-60 thousand dollar car. Overall? It's cheaper to keep 'er. Uh, IC cars that is.

THEN, as soon as they realize what it's going to cost to move over to EVs there's going to be another tax increase, that even IC vehicle owners will have to pay right on top of their fuel taxes. Power will increase as the power supply companies upgrade the grid. Cost wise EVs will suck ass.

Typical administrators though, concentrate on one aspect of a problem. Been the case in emissions throughout the history of the EPA.

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. " Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

24.Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural and healthy."
This is the Gramscian agenda of the "long march through the institutions" spelled out explicitly: gradual takeover of the "means of communication" and then using those vehicles to debauch the culture and weaken the will of the individual to resist.
Today those few who still have the courage to advocate public morality are denounced and viciously attacked. Most Americans are entirely unwitting regarding the motives behind this agenda.

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state"

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture – education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

Holy crap! I didn't see the whole biden speech, but WHOH NELLIE! Last time a "leader" came out like that concentration death camps were built. This administration is totally destructive. This putz is going to nuke his own country.

Then, after watching this thing several times, I realized the background is RED. Now, I've said in the past my brain ain't right, so I don't react to cues, I gotta break down the picture and analyze everything. A red background would typically raise negative emotions in a normal person. Hate speech, and it was hate speech, and that color could not be a mistake. This pres. is mongering hatred.

Looking at this again. The way they have the red lighting orientated upward on a brick wall produces shadows interlaced with the red light to give the backdrop a very foreboding appearance. Couple of things missing in the background are Nazi Swastika or maybe a Belial Pentagram.

It’s not surprising that the level of crime and personal safety concerns is escalating here in our neck of the woods.

Our RING neighborhood alerts that hit our cell phones are becoming a lot more scary.

A few weeks ago we had an alert about “shots fired”.

This morning we had an alert about a homicide investigation and 4 people are apparently deceased.

That scene location is only 2 1/2 miles away from our house in a nice neighborhood!
