Frenched springs and pinion angle?
« on: Oct 13, 2010, 05:08:40 PM »
Question for those who have done rear frenched spring hangers, did it change your pinion angle enough to that you needed to install new spring perches?

No links for the rear for me, keepin the 5" marlins for the rear and gonna put my old f150 tank in the rear. I hope to start the links as soon as i get the 3rz in the runner. Not looking forward to grinding all the misc stuff off the 4 runner considering i just got it all done on my truck. :smack:

frenching the spring hangers will help your pinion angle not hurt

But thats the perfect set up for a 4link. A tank in the back is the way to go. You'er half way there.  :psss:

My pinion angle is perfect without frenched hangers and i figured raising the front of the rear spring up into the frame rails would rotate the pinion up even further
