« on: Sep 22, 2011, 10:51:51 PM »
im new to this this will be my first post lol but ive been wheeling and wrenching for a longg time.

im still running the 22r and so of course im thinking of an efi swap but than i started hearing good things about propane
most kits are bolt on which is alot easier than doing a 22re swap. i still dont know alot but tell me what you think propane or efi? im still trying to decide

Propane buy far. Its essentially fuel injected, just under vapor pressure not electric or mechanical.

I have it in mine and LOVE it.

I'm running propane, street legal, but of course, we have no smog laws in AL.  Actually got pulled over my a cop once (improper tag placement of all things) and he sat and BS'd with me for a good 10 minutes about the fact I was running propane and he thought it was cool.

Regardless of all that though, I LOVE the propane setup.  I have not yet had it stall, or even hint at any kind of fuel problem since I made the switch.

i assume a pressure gauge right off the tank would work. gotpropane.com also sells a hybrid kit if u want to run propane and gas. which i think would be awesome

Swapping crap every 2 years is not the way to do it, in my opinion.  Been there done that, and trust me, you will hate it.  No one should have to mess with their daily that much.

if your running to dual setup(gas and propane), you can get it smogged. Just gotta put the stock intake on.
