got propane?

so all of you that have the got propane set up, how do you like it...how was the install.

and for anybody that has th turbo kit that the have also how do you likke it...did you instal it yourself or did you have someone do it for you

I've got the kit and it's like a whole new truck. The install was very easy, the only thing is they don't really tell you what all needs to come off with the fuel system, it says everything, but one thing leads to another so you just have to trust what they say and start pulling stuff, that's what I did and it works fine. It took probably 3-4 hours including pulling the gas tank and everything.

sweet....what kinda mpg are you gettin out of it......and do you know anyone that has the propane and turbo kit?   cuz im for sure going with propane but that turbo is soudning good also

yep there it is.........i knew i was going to get the "use the search function"  honestly i just signed in posted it then like 5 min later i thought o ya i should have searched...which i did after the fact......but i still could find anything on the kit along with the turbo

Call Cary at gotpropane.com (all contact info in my link)  he'll tell you anything you could ever need to know about propane conversions, he also has turbo kits.

I'm not sure about the MPG because I don't really drive it on the road that much, just around town occasionally. I don't think it's a lot worse than gas but I don't think I get quite what I used to. I still need to do a little adjusting, I think it's running a little rich. I don't know of anyone with the turbo but it definately sounds like a good plan.
