Ran 21 Road last week.  All went good.  About a foot of snow at the bottom of the trail, made every lil rock a full blown obstacle.  We encountered one obstacle where my buddy in his jeep walked right through but I hung up on for about 20 minutes.  My diff is on the pass side and that screwed me in this particular section.  So I turned the rig around and ran it backwards!  Wahlah, diff on the driver!  Flopped once while showing off, probably a mix of over confidence in the width lol.

since he doesnt get on here anymore, i'll update for him, he went to moab a few weeks back and blew up another toy u-joint and a dana 60 inner, i find it kind of odd that he was sick of the weak toy front axle, and now has a broken dana 60

it was just a warn 35spline hub, calm down.  it's all warrantied and new parts are here.  anyways, the upper chassy for the crawler is sold, I'm keeping the axles, wheels, tires, and brake lines.  flipping the money over for a 2sp atlas for the nv3550 in the dodge.  gonna load all this on the trailer and build up the truck when I get to AK.

dan got this new girlfriend and turned into a total flake.  lol she's not even hot, idiot fell in love.  i moved out...as for going up north I won't be bringing the crawler, just a trailer full of my stuff and the 60/14 bolt axles and the atlas im gettin ready to order since shipping within the lower 48 will be soo much cheaper and I'll just throw the thing in the front of the truck so I can wrap it in blankets, buckle it in and snuggle it at rest stops.  maybe I'll put my hat on it with my shades and we can talk along the drive.  Just me and my buddy Atlas...

Im trying to decide what gears to order in the atlas...4.3's will give me a crawl of 78:1...5.0 gears give me 91:1...6.0 gears give 110:1...I'm trying to decide what would be best with the 5.2l in AK terrain without having to slip the clutch all the time.  I'm kinda leanin towards 4.3s...With the 4.3's @ 2000 rpm in low range with the tires I have would get me just under 3mph.  That's pretty damn slow for AK terrain already.
