its gonna all depend on how lifted you are, i would say that it would be easier on your truck and stronger if you rotated your axles to compensate, but i would imagine its not fully necessary, but your gonna have to cut the body where the transmission is and rebuild it back up so that it will fit under there. mine is pretty much hitting my body an its still a good ways from being a flat belly. id be more worried about that then just axle rotation and drive lines... those are pretty simple and minor compared to figuring out a plan on clearancing room for the whole thing

edit top post--- accidentally sent it before i was done. well since you have a 3 inch body lift that should make it a lot easier but i would say you will still have to either cut a few spots on the floor board or just bash the crap out of it till it fits. in my opinion i also think that if yours going to go flat belly might as well make pretty heavy duty skit plate that covers the whole underside, that would be pretty bad ass

  :clap2:  i just went and looked at what id have to do for the flat belly and beside either makin or buyin a crossmember for it i think the only thing ill need is pinion angle shims im pretty sure that i wont need to cut my floor up hell yeah :crossed:

ya, shims are easy and simple but you'll get a tinny bit more axle wrap. so either do that or just buy new perches..cut off old ones, and re-weld on the new ones. but with the front im not sure but you may have to rotate your knuckles so that  you have a better pinion angle without changing your caster angle, but i doubt that would have to be done, unless you wanted to do it fully legit

ight well i started on my flat belly last night on the truck i did end up havin to cut a lil section out of the tranny tunnel even with a 3 inch body lift but yeah damn the ground clearance is a major improvement now i just gota make teh crossmember and cover the hole back up and then im guna get a big sheet of metal and make a skid plate that covers the whole center section :willynilly:  :flamer:

I am not sure on the shims I used new spring perches. That is a center section from FROR I bought it from a guy that decided not to use it, but on there site they sell it for like $50.00 and then I used frame tubes with spring bushings, and I work in construction so I used ancor bolt washers to bolt it to.

when i did dual case flatbelly on my shortbed 1st gen i used like 10 degree steel shims and welded them to the perches i had to so the driveline would work... but i strongly suggest cutting the old perches off and getting new ones so you can weld the perch where you need it :twocents:
