flopped it. Need ideas for what's next.
« on: Mar 19, 2007, 08:59:41 AM »
Crushed the lid. I don't want a buggy, but I also don't want to deal with a new body. Now that it's at the point of uber-damage, it'll be trail only, but I'd like it to still be....well, have a windshield, removeable maybe, and a cage is a must. Anybody got ideas, pics?

if you don't want to change body's and you don't want to go buggy the put a high lift in the door frame and half way straighten it up. then put a cage in her and go.

Ya, that's a cool one. Drop in a plexi windshield that's removeable....like that. Lose the doors.

....mind wheels turning....keep 'em coming.

 Cut the top off & pull the windshield out. Cage the inside of the cab with a tube that runs down the center of where the windshield use to be & mount clear plexiglass to that & put on a bikini top.

That's what I was going to say.

Buggies just don't do it for me. I like the look of the truck.  But the biggest factor is CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP.

Well then, cut the top off and do a plexy window, from there you can tube a safty cage around you and the passenger... make half doors with what might remain of your doors, and keep on wheelin... thats my suggestion...
