Some pics of the diff covers I made one night after work.  Also built some 1/2 inch thick flanges to retain my toy shafts.  Turned the old 14 bolt and 60 yokes on a lathe then CNC'd the 1/2 thick flanges...heated the flanges and froze the yokes, pressed them together, then tig welded the whole thing.  I gotta make a 1/2 inch thick spacer ring for each cuz now the pinion nuts stick out a little too far and don't allow the Toy yokes to seat all the way down.

As thick as them flanges are yo could just tap them. Your gonna have to run some long bolts through there otherwise. They shouldnt ever warp or bend on ya though.

nice job on the 14B flange. want to do that for me?! :)
ps. your so close to running a dialed link suspension in the rear, why not just throw some air shocks/coilovers in the back?

the 1/4 eliptical flexes way more than airshocks, plus he already has those, why spend more on stuff he doesnt need

thats not true at all, its probably just the same. your running a spring rate in leaf springs just like the spring rates in coilovers. the coilovers would ride way nicer.

his leafs are on a pivot block, so when they unload, they drop forever, ive seen the rear axle touching on both  sides, and the truck was laid over

Makin some good progress.  I finished the rock lights.  I got my psc pump, reservoir, cooler, and fan all installed.  I just got my Allied RockAthon beadlocks so I'll be mounting those this weekend.  So far I'm waiting on a pitman arm from Sky, a one ton MC from Rockstomper, and a chromoly 35 spline stub kit for the D60.  To go wheeling I need to get that pitman arm so I can get all my steering geometry correct and mount the hydro ram by building a tower on the axle and going to the tie rod.  I need to throw those axle shafts in and plumb up the brakes, then lincoln lock the diffs!
