newb question

will the locking hubs off of an 84 axle fit and work on my 87 ifs 4runner?

I believe so. I don't deal too much with IFS other then to tear it off. I think there's a slight difference on the inner part of the hub, but should still work.

3 CAT scans a MRI and some time with the shrink and it's comfirmed. I'm just not right in the head.

yeah i hate my ifs... i just broke the hubs on the ifs junk.. i almost have everything to do the sas i am just waiting on the cash for the hysteer and my shocks i have everything else..so in the meantime i figure i could use the hubs off the 84 axle i have so i can still play

:confused: That is a good question. I don't think I've ever know anyone to break a hub other then an automatic one.

Take off the hubs & count the splines. Solid axle locking hubs & IFS locking hubs have different splines if I remember right.
