Since i try to build as much utility into my Toyota trucks as possible, i wish i could find a dual-fuel kit. Like a propane feed plate that bolts on between the carb and the intake manifold. Select propane instead of gasoline, you still use the carb choke and throttle plates to meter the air, you just spray propane into the air stream beneath the throttle plates. The propane plate would have to have a proportional valve connected to the throttle linkage to get the proper fuel-air mix, but i don't see any major complications.Anyone know of a source for a setup like this?
is there a power loss at all? and if so by tinkering around with air and timing, could that compensate for the lost power?
