Hello from Idaho
« on: Sep 20, 2005, 08:39:48 PM »
Just picked up an 84 toyota SB.  Used to have a 1 tonned Blazer on 39.5 IROKs, but sold it to buy tools and build a buggy :gap:   Turns out no matter how cheap you are, they take a boatload of $$$$$.  Anyways, I got tired of not having a rig and picked this one up not running for $350.  I have a pair of 56" chevy springs that I am fitting to the rear while I truss the housing and weld the spiders (and maybe something extra that I've been thinking about for 15 years).  Then on to the front with the rear springs, truss work and welding.  Followed by a bob job.  Got a line on some cheap 33's for now.  Then a double Tcase and some 35-37's.  I don't even have the thing running yet :smack:
Oh ya, this is not my first toy.  I had an 80 back in 86-88, with a 4" trailmaster and QR78 Buckshot radials.  If I'd a had this internet back then...

Life . . . should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a attractive and well preserved body --- but rather to skid in sideways, cigar in one hand, beer in the other in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, "WOW - What a ride!"
