consider those things bent. our trucks are heavy. my friends were bending 2 1/4 x 3/8 wall. one of the guys now is running 2 1/2 x .500 wall. its ridiculous. im running 2" x .250 but they are heat treated chromoly links. from all the reading ive done they should hold up fine.
