Ya the taco isn't a bad little truck but I need something with big tires for driving around town. How's your truck doing?

im loving my truck, took it night wheeling in the highlakes a few days ago. only thing i can complain about is that i need to adjust the bumpstops in the front. but thats no big deal, glad you like the taco.

Started tearing into the front to get the calipers off so my buddy can put them on the lathe but it's turning out to be more of a project than expected. Heres the rear 60 I got from thegoofster.

I got the first one because it was the only one big enough but mine is 4 prong so I had to cut 4 of the prongs off of it wich worked for one side but  just two prongs is not working for the other side. I think it is that second one but i'll have to check. Thanks for the link

u can get the BOM number off the axle tube, RIGHT SIDE i think, and type it in in google and it will tell u wat truck it came out of... then get the numbers off the ring gear and it will tell u exactly wat they are..its all in the dana database

on the upside i can run 35spli shafts without boring the thing out.... just have to run spacers n lol

ya just gotta deal with the spacers and shims. There is normally an imprint on the bottom right hand side below the diff cover that says d60 or 61, thats how I double check.

The only specific dana 61 gears i've seen are a 4.10.

there are several numbers on that housing...... 61-2 is the one that jumps out at me.... by the pinion.

here THK you can kinda see where mine says 60 f, both my front and rear have 60 imprinted where I pointed.
