mike, well i spent most of the day bustin knuckles on the project today. i removed the front diff and pulled the shafts, which was a pain in the ass. i had to pull my hubs all apart. then when i went to go put the oil pan on i realized the pick-up i bought wasnt the right one. this is what i dont understand is if the pan is right, which i know it is because the sump is in the rear and it lines up right, it can only go one direction. how come the pick-up the sold me with it doesnt go back far enough. i had the parts guy at toyota seach for 97 thru 02 t-100s and tacomas in 2 and 4 wd and i coulnt find one for a 3rz that worked. yours is a 3rz and not a 2rz right. this is getting agrivating because the pan is right and there has to be a pickup that goes back far enough for a rear sump oil pan.   what  year is you motor out of. it was also a t100 2wd right? arrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!! i need a
