my idea for prolonged time away from my truck would be a quick release to pull out my shifter when its in neutral and lock it in a secure box.

I think its interesting  :think:

that is interesting. maybe a push button release.
a cut down ammo box with a locking lid. leave it in dual low.

to bad we don't have the tire pressure controls like the hummers. set it up to let all the air out of the tires.

switches hidden in plain sight are also a way to go.
antenna switch, cig lighter, fog light switch. upper dome light, seat belt, head lights, rear drive shaft dissconnect.
key powered choke plate, (must be turned off to run), line lock on the clutch, (to keep it dis-engaged)
