There would be a little more work involved in doing what your saying, and you would have to find an amber blinking bulb to replace the small running light on the corner there. I also considered converting my side marker lights into blinkers, but again, it wouldve been a more difficult task. What I ended up doing is probably the simplest way. I dont think jimbo didnt like the idea, he was probably suggesting a simplified way of doing it...in the end, I saved myself from splicing in the wiring of a new socket though as well as the cost of a new one, so I think it evens out either way...
