Ok this is good. I have a header, and a weber carb. So just a cam and better exhaust? What about boring and bigger pistons? How much horsepower does the 22r have stock? I already have a header straight to a flowmaster, a weber carb now all I need is a cam? Any more suggestions?

just bore if  your block needs it,   i went .060  oversize  but  it didnt  really  give me anything but the need for a bigger radiator

the  cam  you get  will make the difference,  oh,  and if you use a 20R head, use the rocker arms  from the 22R(alum  rockers)
