I also heard the holes for the drain plugs dont line up as well. 
who manufactured the truss? just curious.....
It sure seems to be fine as far as the plug goes. I didn't really see any problem when I did the install. I just positioned it so it was decent. I am happy with the piece.
My truss was a Marlin unit. I had to grind a lot and spread it out to get it to sit where I wanted it. But it wasn't a big deal. With fabricated parts like these I always expect to do a little modification, but it sucks to have to grind something you just expected to weld on.
