I think he meant restraint as in you don't wanna wind up on a "list"
Hey 86...
I thought about that. Textual communications is often difficult to interpret, right?
I'm glad you brought that up. Again, I assume your comment is referring to "lists" that would be labeling me something and to come after me or cancel me or attempt to take away my civil rights.
The lists would be created as a result of me not having enough personal restraint on a public forum, right?
Now... I have “some expert knowledge” regarding what information the Feds, and probably others in power- Google, Amazon etc, have collected and have access to your personal data and how they collect it.
To the degree that I expose myself most likely could raise red flags and get me on a watch list.
But if some evil person or entity wants to find out about me or anyone who has been on the internet, they can find you.
Right after 911, a business associate's daughter was attending a university and working on her Master's thesis. The subject apparently was being monitored by our illustrious intelligence community. She was contacted by the FBI, and interrogated. She was quickly dismissed as some kind of terrorist.
I worked for Google and spent lots of time with Google Analytics. Back then it was mindblowing what information was being mined by big data.
About 6 months ago I discovered a post that I had made here was now readily found with a simple search on Google.
So, if you are correct, and sirdeuce was suggesting be careful what you post, and use some restraint, then yes, it’s something we all should be concerned about.
Gnarls.
