Car-part.com said they had three, but their internal database said they didn't have any.

Gotcha.

My old toolbox that I got for Christmas from my parents when I was in the 8th grade was no longer meeting my needs. So after doing some shopping and reading through lots of reveiws, I chose the Milwaukee tool chest and cart.

I like the size, color, and built in power strips. It had over a hundred reveiws and none of them were less than four stars. It has soft close drawers that keep the tools from shifting every time you close them.

I got my booster installed today. Went smooth except for bleeding the brakes. I tried installing my easy-bleeders and after pumping the brakes for 10 minutes with no results I ditched the easy-bleeders and put the stock bleeder valves back in and did it the old fashioned way without any trouble.

Still cheap

I think that was what he was saying. That diesel is below $3 a gallon.

Not just diesel, Biodiesel. Steve is probably paying twice that for "petrol". That would be about £1 per liter.

is Bio usually more expensive than regular diesel?

It all depends on the price of oil. Biodiesel stays pretty steady at that price, but as we all know, the price of gasoline fluctuates quite a bit along with all products derived from petroleum. Those damned greedy oil barons! :tantrum:
At least with a diesel vehicle I have options.

"Gas" is £1.12 per liter
"Dizzle" is £1.09 per liter, both have bio somethingorother in them you cant get it without, i know for a fact the diesel leaves a snotty slime in the filter housings.

That is the absolute cheapest in town, up the road deezul is £1.18 per liter thats $6.67 per US gallon.

Just think you are not only coming here where our fuel is 1/2 the price of yours but we are just begining a massive drop in the price at the pump as well. Lets go wheeling!  :driving:

I jumped in the other day to take it for a spin. It's got plenty of pep! I think you'll be happy. Still trying to find my compression tester. I haven't used it in years. I'll get some numbers for you though.

You were asking me a bit ago about what the IFS hub swap entails. This is the best walk through I've found so far on it.

I have been having some major charging whoa's lately. Last night on my way home my power got so low that my LED headlight started to strobe. I am wondering if the main charge wire between the alternator and the fuse box is so corroded that the juice is just barely trickling in. I'm gonna look into this today.

Thought you had narrowed it down to the alternator?

I reckon its an electrical problem.

I think your right. But it's not the main wire. I just finished replacing it with no improvement.

With Steve in town I really haven't had much time to post, but with him he brought a bunch of my parts including a brand new cylinder head for the goat, and gaskets and bolts. Maybe after we get back from the roundup I will have time to install it.

Here it is in all its glory!

In the picture you will also see the appropriate FSM pages printed off (I like to make notes). Also are new head bolts all gaskets and a new timing belt. I forgot to order new valve seals. So I'll get them coming. Does anyone know of a good quality valve spring compressor that isn't ridiculously priced?
