Remove it and remove the line that ties into the front line and plug it. Then install a wilwood self adjusting porportioning valve. This is what i did and it also allows tuning of your brakes. Works great.

Why remove it?  I dropped one with a homemade bracket on an Land Cruiser roughly by the same amount as my lift and all is well.

90% of the time they dont work correctly. I have seen them fail. I did it to be able to tune my breaks individaully. It made a big difference, but i also have full widths and a gm 1ton master cylinder so little different.

And i think the guy who wrote the topic is looking for a remedy. If you look at the picture the rod is cut. So its useless anyways  :hammerhead: There a pain in the ass to bleed even with a vacuum pump.

When you take the LSPV valve off the feed line from the MC is long enough to go to the bracket on the gas tank. Carefully bend it over to hook it there to hook the soft line to.

I just plugged the "T" in the PS wheel well where the return line to the front brakes. Some people have changed the fitting from a "T" to an "L" fitting.

When I first did it I mounted the adjustable proportioning valve back there. After about a year I went to change the adjustment on it and it was frozen solid, So I remounted it under the hood off the MC.

I did this also. I accidently bought a SAE adjustable valve from Summit, so I had to get special lines made. After that, LSPV is GONE and no more leaks! Just remember to test and see if rear brakes lock first. Could be a bad day for you if they do! Especially in a turn...

I found a location on my 4Runner to bolt the rod to the bottom of the cab thus eliminating it all together. I made a thread on it on here somewhere a while back.

I understand the rigging the rod sonics out of the way, but for a permanent fix it really makes no sense. You really never know how well its working because it's not functional. The wildwood is 50 smakers and all you do is delete the line to front with a plug and cut and re flare the rear line to accept the proportioning  valve. And it really works great. I like that in cab set up pretty slick there
