I've owned my 4Runner since 1999 and it was completely stock with ~122,000 miles at that time.  It has been thru numerous modifications and updates but has never let me down.  It is in fantastic shape.   It's been back and forth twice coast to coast and I've been stationed in WA state for the last few years now.  My wife hates it :D  :beerchug:

I've been around Toyotas for a while and on various other boards.  I like to work on my rig and other buddies projects as well.  I've done all the work on my truck either by myself or with my friends.

Also, I like long walks on the beach and pina coladas....

Tons of mods I'd hate to bore 'errybody with but here's a few:

5VZ swap with TRD SC and URD 7th injector
35's
SAC with knuckle gussets, full face armor and trussed
F&R Elockers (soon to be hi-pinion elocker up front)
Longs
4.7 gear tcase w/adapter for r-series tranny
Allpro rear springs w/orbit eyes
Allpro tcase disc brake
Allpro rear disc conversion w/manual proportion valve
Dual diaphragm booster
Stubbs dual tube sliders
Addicted Off-road front bumper
Smittybulit winch with synthetic rope and factor 55 thimble
Custom half-door
Inner fender snorkel
Softtopper
Short throw shifter
Hand throttle
Twin sticks
OBA with A/C compressor and tanks
RANCHO 9000X's w/in-cab adjuster controls
Custom Pod speakers
Jerry can sub-woofer
Various interior upgrades(ie, '86 turbo door panels, cb, radio...)

And other stuff.... :gap:

Thanks!!  It's been a long process lol

I only run my softtop a few months, maybe, out of the year.  I didn't run it at all this year, we moved and I had to take down my pulley/rail top support system in my old garage.  Hadn't had time to put it up yet at the new place.

I need info on those "heated" seatcovers.  Besides the color Im sold.  I figure if your wife is nice enough to go out camping in the snow with you for days on end and cook every meal then giving her a warm seat isn't too much to ask.

What's wrong with the color?  They really are a deep blue my phone apparently disagrees with me on that.....

What info do you need?  They work good, pull aboot 4-5 amps per seat. There's two heat pads, one for the seat and one for the lower back.

I'm surprised that they only pull 5 amps. Are they made by wet okle or someone else? Im also interested in them.

The 5 amps is what I've read around the web. I'd assume that one could just buy the seat heaters separately, probably not made by Wet Okole. Again, assumption. Well I have a double cig outlet adaptor rated for 5 amps and with only three of the four heat pads running and a cellphone charging I popped the little fuse lol

toe

Me

BigBluePile

Seat heaters are amazing.

Well, gonna try and use a 3rd gen 4Runner front sway bar up...front....

BigBluePile

Sway bar is gonna be some work. Plus I still need to fix my rear shock mount.

So, I installed my replacement cb.  My old Midland was wicked old and only half worked.  This new Uniden was just right for my needs. Plus it was a better fit dimensionally wise. Did my SWR check and it was perfect. Of course doesn't really mean anything to me until I talk to another cb....

So far, so good. They definitely insulate the seats so we'll see how they are in warmer weather.

Was able to op check my new cb and it seems to work great. Be interesting to see what the range will be.

Got the front elocker wiring all done and installed.  Too bad the motor that I got with the diff was completely rotten on the inside. Piss.

On a positive note, I picked up some new cup holders:
