Will you fit in a first gen?!
Yeah. I can fit. Even more so with after market seats.
I'm about 5'8" and I'm cramped in mine with the seat all the way back lol
Shoe horn you mean. I put racing seats in my 80 rig and it's great for wheeling but not a long cruise. The beat 1st gen set up for comfort I've done is a 2nd gen split bench with the armrest. Loved it.
I've always wondered how Marlin and BigMike make it work, they both appear to be pretty big guys.
BigMike is not a big guy. I'd guess he's closer to your 5' 8" than my 6' 0".
I disagree. He seemed over six feet when I saw him.
I drove Steve's truck for a decent amount of the freeway miles down to the rubicon and I'm 6' and 200 lbs. and had no complaints about comfort, other than the noise. I think bucket seats make a big difference.
I don't see how. My 83 is running factory buckets all the way slid back and I get uncomfortable after an hour or so. I even put a smaller steering wheel. My 80 that i swapped 2nd gen split bench to was nice.
That being said I don't know why anyone would want to chose a standard cab toyota.
:_oops:i like boys
Where's your new build Zippo?
