Well I bought me a 85 4 runner a month or so ago its beat up pretty good but the original owner did a good job building it. List of mods
2.28/4.7 dual transfer cases with Marlin adapter and gears
Trail Gear twin stick and dual-case crossmember/skidplate
All Pro Offroad TCase Emergency Brake
Schedule 40 rear and square front driveshafts
IFS rear axle with disc brakes, yukon 5.29s, and welded spiders
'83 front axle fully built with diff armor, truss, precision gear 5.29s, lockrite, 30 spline longfields, longfield hub gears, landcruiser rotors and v6 calipers
Marlin Crawler High Steer
Hydro Assist
38x12.50x15 TSLs on 15x10 DIY chrome beadlocks.
Frontier 4x4 winch bumper
Ramsey 9000 lb winch with in-cab control
Honda Prelude front seats
4xInnovations interior roll cage
Bobbed bed with pickup tailgate grafted in

Just ordered some tcase gaskets. and may be getting a body for it in the next couple weeks.

I thought about it and I really havnt decided what i want yet, plans change every day haha. I am rhino lining the floors and building a center console this weekend. Anyone have any tips for when I replace the Tcase gaskets and seals.

So I guess its time for an update.
So I got the body off and made a hoist between two trees ,a 4x4 ,and two cable hoist.


Then got the old body off ,cleaned and painted the frame

Marked my cuts for the bob, made all my cuts with a jig saw. Use good quality blades it makes a pretty good cut.

I have more stuff done just have to get some more pictures.
Picking up a 2rz saturday for $100 with only 80k miles on it with all harnesses and ecu.

Thanks! Yes they are not sure the brand but they are on some cragers.

Yeah found it on craigslist. They go cheap here being everybody wants a v8 and the guy needs some money.

So picked up the 2rz today. It came with a rear sump oil pan, full wiring harnesses, and a modified Tacoma dash to fit in a 1st gen 4runner. I'm probably not going to use the dash. I have to order an ecu, bellhousin, and a turbo manifold.
