all good points here haha the main reason id want to go withe the 300 is so id have front diggs. But it would be a lot more work probably gonna stick with toyota stuff for now

so i didn't get my bumpstops done my friends wanted to go to pc last minute so i tagged along. new tires are siiick and hook up good and i tested out the sliders a couple good times and their pretttyyy solid. I took my buddies 37 and put it up t0 my 35 and it was only about a half in bigger lol it made me feel better. heres some pics

How far back did you move the rear axle? Looks like a fair amount of trimming at the back of the rear wheel wells. Did you cut into the interior at all, or stop right there. I am almost done with my '92 but haven't started cutting sheetmetal yet. Living in seattle I can't really open it up without the rear seat passengers getting a shower or my interior gettin all moldy.

Nice build up. Good to see young guys really getting into it.

i think it stretched about 3" from stock making it like 108 or something i haven't measured it in a while. I cut a little bit into the interior but just enough to see the last of the corner of the little plastic cargo boxes on the inside. Nothing bad at all, nothing gets wet inside but it is enough trimming for my dad and grandpa to complain about it and ask me if I'm gonna do sheet metal work to patch it and make it look factory again. I just took tape made sure it looked even on both sides and cut it with the grinder , it was fast and it fits my tires good. more trimming if i got 37s for sure.

Alright so i haven't updated this in a couple weeks. First off i got my buddys hanger tacked up and help him set up the front end on his 82, ill post more pics of it when its completely done. Been getting my truck ready for the first trip of the year gonna hit Fordyce april 11-14 pretty damnn excited. Trucks still doing good been going to pc like every weekend just trying to get better clutch control and just trying to be a better driver, all about seat time haha. I did blow a pinion seal in my front diff 5.29s lock right, so at the moment i have my buddys 5.29 spool up front. Some friends like giving me a hard time for running spool front and rear but honestly i like it and I've been tearing it up with it haha. Oh and i got a t case from a buddy so now its on to duals and it can't come fast enough heres some pics from the past few weeks

the black single cab is a 22ret and were gonna be building his t cases like next week i think should be sick

trimmed my front fenders to fit the 35s better

Since we have not gotten much snow, I am guessing that the water will be fairly low this year.

Dingman.

gears are the best thing ever.

I went with two stock 23 spline cases at first and was as happy as hell.  then i put a 4.7 in the back and it was SOOO much better.
My thoughts were to do stock duals at first that way everything was done and then if i decided to do a 4.7 later everyting was already setup.  i am glad i went that route and i would recommend it as well.

(as far as a bumper goes i haven't decided if i want to make my tg bumper work again, or just build a new front bumper.  If i decide to build one i will have my tg one for sale that would save you a little bit of money if you wanted it)

J_Cole92

Ya pretty much waiting for my buddy with the red 82 I posted to drop his t case and sell it to me then I can get to work on the t cases. My transmission took a :pokinit: this week kinda lol just gnarly grinding in 4th and 5th. Seen it a couple times in other yotas so I'm probably gonna pick up a tranny off craigslist and call it good for now.

And hell ya if you wanted to sell the bumper eventually I'd be interested, been in dyer need of one lol. We're gonna have to go wheeling when the tons are ready to go your in Chico right?

Nice ride. Good start for a youngster :)

Had single case 4.7's first and 2.28/4.7 duals currently. TC gearing is probably the best upgrade I have done.
