X2 on that i got the 3rz in my 97 runner and when she hits 3500+ rpms watch out. But the real fun is when the prime rpms shine 4500, allows me to pass V8 on a grade. I really need to just suck it up and finish my swap in my runner. You swap is very clean, i like the detail you put in it. Even more props for it being a 1ST GEN runner
Yeah. Your truck sits nice. IMO. I think what im gonna have to do is hack off my sliders and rear shock tower and lower my gas tank some more. Ditch the 1" body lift. Thats an inch drop right there. I do not own a welder or really know how to weld for that matter. Thats the only reason i havent jumped on it yet.
UPDATE. I went out and bought everything I thought I had to complete the swap. Ordered the Chilkat oil pan today. Here are some pics showing my progress for today. I got the motor in. A tip when doing this swap: REMOVE THE CLUTCH! this will make everything much easier. also, the bracket that is meant to hold the rubber clutch line to the firewall kind of gets in the way as well. I did NOT hack it off, but it wouldn't e a bad idea to do so.
