pumkin toy

any specific reason why you mounted the ram that direction?  It works that way but it will be alot more likely to bend the tie rod when the ram is bolted to the middle of the tie rod rather than the very end by the TRE

I bought this housing and ram from one of my buddies that was using it on his yota. I will move it to the end when I get new brackets made, but that will not be a priority. I need to get alot more done before I start fixing flawed stuff.

I don't think that it is going to stay leaf springs in the front for very long. If I break the spring hanger it will give me an excuse to link it up front.

you won't break the spring hanger, it is the frame that will fail...

1994 4Runner - Long Term Expedition type Build

I just installed my ifs steeing box as far forward on the frame as possible. I had to cut the relocation plates down in the front and I am still having to weld it straight to the body mount. I trimed my core support and shoved my steering box all the way up against my body mount so I can push my axle forward more. I still have to drill the holes in my frame and weld it all up but I am getting closer to being ready to wheel. I am going to try and make it to WOTR in St. George, UT this year it's coming up quick and still have a lot to get done.

I made it to WOTR ran good, the only problem was no propane need to get it put on. I just traded for some new tires 39" Irok's on H1's with pvc inserts. I will post up some pictures of how it looks now.

I have not been on here much and just realized I need to do a update on the progress of my buggy. I have done dirty 30's in the front, got propane kit, finished my OBA, LSPV elimination, new panels, cut and clearenced my fenders for my 39.5" Iroks, eliminated all my AC components, installed 22re turbo rock crawling clutch, changed out the duals for my built duals out of my 4runner, and installed a TG dual t-case crossmember. I have done more I am sure but can't think of anything else.

I have since this picture added longer shocks, cut and lowered my brake line brackets, and shackles front and rear. It has more flex now but not much still flexes like a tank TG front and rear springs. I will be soon changing the front springs to rears, and 4linking the back. It will drop it down about 4" and have way better flex.

Like it, Going to be a sick rig when you link it! :driving:

I hate these springs looking for some rears now, and I have most of my stuff to link it. I will probably leave it like this until it gets linked.

I cut and moved my brake line brackets to the bottom of my frame. I also installed front and rear shackles. I think it gave me a couple more inches of travel.

I was in a nasty roll of a pretty big ledge, and smashed up my cage pretty bad. I have since then cut and bent a whole new cage. I will post up some pics of the process later

Now I have to figure out how to lower it in the front like 4 inches, and keep it from having to much axle wrap.

I have fixed my front spring problem by making a hybrid spring pack out of toyota 48" rear springs and a set of tg 4" lift springs. It seems to flex real good and sits a little higher than I wanted it to, but I have to live with it for now just want it back up on the trail. I just finished my custom bead locks and mounted them up. I also did a little more tube work on front.
