Welcome to the registration for our 11th Marlin Crawler Round Up Event!
Sept 14-16, 2012 - Rubicon Springs, California

REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED!

Registration is now officially open for our 11th Annual Marlin Crawler Round-Up!

Over the past decade, the Marlin Crawler Round-Up has become one of the largest Toyota-based 4WD events in the world. Held every September on the world-famous Rubicon trail, the Round-Up has developed into the premiere trail-ride sponsor for the Rubicon Trail Foundation (RTF), a federally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to the future health of the Rubicon trail.

Unique Customer Appreciation Experience

This event was first held in the fall of 2001 as a way for Marlin to thank his customers for their support and trust in his products. It was a simple, free event & included a free BBQ lunch. After 2003, our appreciation was expanded to include the efforts of the Rubicon Trail Foundation. The event has seen tremendous growth ever since!

MCR11: A Return to its roots
Over the past 11 years, we've had to slowly increase the registration fee to cope with the growing event. This year we are happy to announce a simplified format structured specifically around you our beloved customer! We've reduced the fee by providing more registration options and are providing a more relaxed schedule with a simple dinner and only one raffle.

Each year participants from the Marlin Crawler Community take on the grueling 17-mile Rubicon trail on an epic journey to the beautiful and historic Springs Campground. Part of the uniqueness and excitement of the event is how members from our forum come together for the first time, putting faces to nicknames and getting to see all the build projects in person. The event has attracted forum members from as far away as Florida & Hawaii, as well as international members from Canada, Denmark, Germany, and Australia! But the event isn't only for Marlin Crawler forum members and Toyota owners! Rigs of all bolt sizes are always on hand and are sure to turn heads! If your rig is Rubicon-capable, then please register today! We'd love to wheel the 'Con with ya!

This Sept 15 we are celebrating our 11th year of giving back to the Rock Crawling community. Whether you enter the trail from Loon or from Tahoe, get ready for an event to remember! At the Springs Campground Saturday, we will have a Marlin Crawler Nature Hike, Helicopter Rides, a Full Mechanics Repair Station, an R/C Competition, a Hamburger Dinner, Unique Awards, and a Grand Prize Marlin Crawler Raffle. The proceeds from all activities will be donated to the RTF. Last year this event raised and donated over $13,000 for Rubicon trail. To date, over $46,000 has been raised and donated by this event to the Rubicon Trail!

Marlin Crawler does NOT support any type of Trail Abuse or any kind of Ignorance to our Natural Resources and Public Roads. Marlin Crawler requests that ALL People Attending PLEASE PRINT OUT AND REFER TO THE RUBICON TRAIL: ETHICS AND TREAD LIGHTLY PRINCIPLES website. Please do this right now! Event Features

The Main Event: The main event will be held Saturday, September 15 at the Rubicon Springs Campground. We strongly recommend all participants arrive at the Springs Campground on Friday or earlier to avoid heavy traffic congestion on the trail. ONLY registrants may camp at the Springs Campground before Saturday without penalty.

Registration: Registration will be limited to 200 applicants. The deadline for early registration is Aug 20, 2012. In order to get your Grand Prize Ticket (discussed below), you must register before Aug 20. Registration after Aug 20 will only be available if the rig limit has not been met, and will carry an increased registration price.

Updated Raffle Format: This year we will only have a Grand Prize Raffle containing multiple excellent Marlin Crawler Products! Tickets are only available to those who register before August 20. All participants who register before Aug 20 will receive (1) complimentary Grand Prize raffle ticket – you do not want to miss this great opportunity.

Information & RTF Booth: We will have an information booth set up next to the stage beginning Saturday morning. Please stop by & pick-up your registration packet, which includes your exclusive Grand Prize ticket (if registered before Aug 20), required camping pass, and dash plaque. The RTF Booth will be set up where you may ask questions, learn information, and donate to this great organization!

Organized Group Sign-up: A sign-up area on our website will be provided for participants to sign-up with organized groups. If you are traveling alone, we strongly encourage joining a group! Rock Crawling in a group is a great way to meet friendly people, practice trail safety, discover trail ethics, and learn how different rig configurations work!

Toy Connection Mechanics Pit: Should your rig find itself beaten and bruised from the trail, our great friends and excellent mechanics from Toy Connection will have a full repair shop setup at the Mechanics Pit located just south-west of the caretaker's cabin. Jeff and his team will get your rig back in shape! Donations accepted for the RTF.

Helicopter Rides: Our famous Rubicon Trail Helicopter rides will be held Saturday afternoon and will cost $60/person. Enjoy an unforgettable bird's eye view as you check out Spider Lake, Buck Island, and the entire Springs area. Please stop at the information booth on Saturday for more information.

R/C Competition: Our fifth Annual R/C Rock Crawl Competition will be held on the granite slabs near the main stage in the Campground. There is a $1 charge per participant which will be donated to the RTF.

We hope to see you there!!

At this time there will not be a RTF donation raffle this year. However, RTF will be on site and we are encouraging everyone to visit their booth and donate! There will still be an AWESOME Marlin Crawler raffle that will only be available to those who register on time and receive a grand prize ticket.     :turtle:

Information & RTF Booth: We will have an information booth set up next to the stage beginning Saturday morning. Please stop by & pick-up your registration packet, which includes your exclusive Grand Prize ticket (if registered before Aug 20), required camping pass, and dash plaque.

We show up to the Springs on Thursday. Is there gonna be a registration both at the Springs for those that show up before Saturday or do we have to drive out to the staging area Saturday morning?  :headscratch:
