IMPORTANT NOTICE!

I just got off the phone with the Vice President of Jeep Jamboree USA who informed me there is a female bear with two cubs who have been active at the Springs Campground.

Those who attended last year should remember bear reports & sightings as well. We even had a few rigs with bear prints on the dash and seats so she isn't afraid to jump up in your cab if you've got half doors.

Therefore, PLEASE take precautions to store your food and not leaving anything out. Please see the below threads and links for more information on how to camp with the possibility of a bear encounter.

This bear is not afraid to walk into camps but fortunately she is startled easily and retreats. Clap your hands and make some noise and she will run away.

I wish it was needless to say but PLEASE DO NOT SHOOT HER. I know there are some people who enjoy bringing firearms on wheeling trips, but her cubs are very young and they will surely die without their mother. PUT YOUR FIREARMS AWAY PLEASE. I don't want the Marlin Crawler Round Up to be responsible for a dead mother and then also two dead cubs.

We are camping in nature so please respect the nature!

I was at JJ, camped in Smutville (owners property) and two nights a bear wandered around the place, saw the foot prints.

Leaving Atascadero, Ca. Thursday A.M., Its about an 8 hour drive to Loon Lake. Camping at Loon, Heading in Friday A.M. to Little Sluse or Buck. See you there.

Hey Big Mike, any chance there will be meal tickets sold at the event?  My brother decided last minute to accompany us, no big deal if there's not, just curious

It's possible. We've got around 380 meals sold right now and we are planning for 400. The safest answer is that if we have food remaining after those 380-something have been served, then yes it won't be a problem :thumbs:

I think in years past we started a list of people looking for additional meals, and then served them in the order received. So the best bet would be to see Christine as soon as possible to get his name down! Lastly, if for any reason he pays for a meal and then ends up not receiving one, of course we'll refund him the $5 :thumbs:

It's the front third member for a 93-97 FJ80 or Lexus 450 with E-locker and 4.88 gears

yup loaded mine up today to heading out about 6am to santa rosa to pick up a buddy and relax then to the con fri morning.

Yep high pinion 8".  Yes, I may have to rebuilt it later if I cant find one to swap in.

Hey guy's. My frame is still broken so I will not be going this year. There are 3 paid dinners that I hope will be handed out to whoever needs them. Hope to see you next year.. :(
